The Way of Council –Â Courageous Listening in CommunityÂ
–Â Finding the gifts in opposition & diversity
Bristol, United Kingdom: May 1st – 3rd 2026

This Council is for
anyone feeling the strain of a fast-changing, polarised world and longing for a more human, grounded, compassionate way forward.
For those who sense the weight of division or uncertainty; who feel called to deepen their listening; who want courage, resilience, community, and a renewed connection with self, others, and the living world.
A Level two Council – a weekend for facilitators, activists, healers, educators, and for anyone yearning for more authentic relationship and a place to remember what truly matters.
An Invitation
Council invites us to stand in the centre of our lives with courage – to bear witness, to act with kindness, to live with gratitude. You are welcome to join us for a weekend of deep listening and honest presence as we explore the gifts that emerge when we meet opposition with compassion.
Why this, why now?
We meet in a time of ecological unravelling, social fragmentation, and rising injustice.
For many of us our questions may be: How do I stay open when the world divides? What is my responsibility? How do I meet difference without fear?
Such times can harden our hearts, or call us into new ways of being.
The Way of Council offers this path: a practice of shared humanity, deep listening, and compassion that helps us hold the whole without turning away.

What will you gain?
