Join us for this experiential course in the art of council facilitation, led by two council carriers with deep and diverse experience in the field, Paul LeVasseur and Kirstin Edelglass. Council is a dialogic, circle-based process that stimulates compassionate understanding, deeper self-awareness, community building, collective decision-making, conflict transformation, and shared leadership. It is used worldwide in a variety of contexts including public schools, universities, prisons, social service agencies, faith-based communities, families, wilderness programs, non-profit organizations, and businesses.
This is a “Level I Council Training” with an internationally recognized certificate from the Trainers Mentoring Circle of the Ojai Foundation.
The course meets from Friday, 5:30 p.m. to Sunday, 4:00 p.m.
Arrival at 4:00 p.m. on Friday allows you to register & settle in before we begin.
Fee: $300. Includes tuition and meals (two lunches and two dinners).
Some scholarships available.
Housing: Inquire about housing options in Sun Hill Farmhouse, with local neighbors who support the work of NECC & local B&Bs.
