Way of Council Training

Gain experience & confidence in group facilitation.
Join us for this experiential workshop in the art of council facilitation, led by Kirstin Edelglass and Jeremiah Burrow. Council is a dialogic process that stimulates compassionate understanding, deeper self-awareness, community building, collective decision-making, conflict transformation, and shared leadership. It is used worldwide in a variety of contexts including public schools, universities, prisons, social service agencies, faith-based communities, families, wilderness programs, non-profit organizations, and businesses.
This is a “Level I Council Training” with an internationally recognized certificate from the Trainers Mentoring Circle affiliated with The Ojai Foundation.
Time: The training runs from Friday, 5:30 p.m. to Sunday, 4:00 p.m. at Sun Hill Farm.
Arrival at 4:00 on Friday allows you to register and settle in before we begin.
Cost: $450. Includes tuition and meals (two lunches and two dinners).
Some scholarships are available.
Housing: Inquire about housing options in the Sun Hill Farmhouse, with Putney neighbors, and at local B&Bs.
