The Condor and the Eagle Fly Together
You’re Invited to a Special Celebration – on the land
Sunday March 8th 10am – 4pm

There is an ancient legend from the Amazon prophesying the era when bridge-building between the North and the South is needed for life to continue. The Prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor only speaks of the potential. It’s up to humanity to activate this potential and ensure that a new consciousness is allowed to rise.
Many years ago in 1989, Daniel Dancer, Art for the Sky and Gigi Coyle, then Co-Director of the Ojai Foundation called the community there into a month-long ceremonial time to learn, play and pray as they made a giant California condor feather, best viewed from the sky. The feather has functioned as a quiet ceremonial site for many years, a prayer in the ground seen from the sky bearing witness to many visitations and magical encounters. Its continued care has been a prayer for restored relations between all tribes, all peoples, all beings.
We have waited for the right time to add the eagle feather and feel that now this spring 2026 is that time.
By making an eagle feather on the land adjacent to the Condor, we are calling on peoples of Ojai and Southern California, citizens of the Northern Hemisphere to listen deeply to their neighbors from and in the South, to ask and invite each of us to do our part in restoring, co-creating and living in healthy, whole communities.
A small group will have spent a week on the land creating an eagle feather, representing the North, adjacent to the condor feather, representing the South.
Come to witness and celebrate the completion on Sunday March 8th.
And be part of a special time of blessing ways, beauty way, and council.
Listening for what is ours to do.
What is our prayer and action needed in these times?
