An Introduction to Council in Nature – High Heathercombe, UK

Event Category: Council Trainings

  • Profile

This four day retreat will give us the opportunity to experience and recognizes that we all share a piece of the truth, that we all have a voice – Council teaches us to listen with our bodies, to be aware of our senses, to feel, see and embrace our environment.

The Four Shields/Directions: This is an Earth-based map that was a natural means of understanding and guidance for any primitive culture from many parts of the world. It helps bring meaning and balance to our lives and puts into perspective what seems impossible, revealing our innate connection to the land, the elements, the cycles of nature and how our true selves are reflected in everything.

May 31st at 6:00 pm to June 4 at 4:00 pm
Organized By: Pippa Bondy & High Heathercombe

The Venue: High Heathercombe is run on a charitable basis by the High Heathercombe Trust and is set in six acres of its own grounds and is ideally located for exploring Dartmoor’s beautiful landscapes and wildlife. Living simply with the beauty and peace of this magical landscape, we will open to our own rhythm and nature as our Council emerges and comes alive.
