Four consecutive Sundays, 1:00 — 5:00 p.m. with a reading and an online 1 ½ hour small group council between full group sessions (for a total of 3 sessions which will be scheduled by each small group). The ongoing Covid reality has prompted us to revision this training which is for participants who have completed Council Training 1 & 2 in the days of face-to-face trainings. We are excited about this opportunity to innovate this training and make it possible online.
Tuition: $350–scholarships available.
Council 3 is for experienced council practitioners who have taken both Way of Council 1 and 2 in the face-to-face format and who are discovering that they are called to truly “live the way of Council,” going beyond simply facilitating council circles as an approach to group interaction.
Council 3 focuses on the three challenges of becoming a carrier of council: devotion to the practice, reading the interactive field in council, and being able to simultaneously participate in and witness the process (including oneself). Areas of exploration include energy field work, movement, sound, ceremony, and the relationship between nature and council. Concepts of experiential learning/reflection, emergence, complex adaptive systems, and collective wisdom are often touched on. Space is always available for the arrival of the unexpected.
