Center for Council’s Council Training 3 (CT3) is for experienced Council practitioners who have taken CT1 and CT2 and who are discovering that they are called to really “live the way of Council,” going beyond occasionally facilitating circles as an approach to group interaction.
This advanced CT3 workshop focuses on the three challenges of becoming a carrier of Council: devotion to the practice, reading the interactive field in Council and being able to simultaneously participate in and witness the process (including oneself). Much material is integrated, including exploration of energy field work, movement, sound, ceremony, and the relationship between nature and Council. Concepts of Emergence, Complex Adaptive Systems and Collective Wisdom are often touched on in great depth and a space is created for the arrival of the unexpected.
Council Training 3 leans into the question of what is sourced and what is served in the practice of Council, where council begins and ends in our lives and how to live this path sustainably in the world.
