Council is a dialogic, circle-based process that stimulates compassionate understanding, deeper self-awareness, community building, collective decision-making, conflict transformation, and shared leadership. Council helps to nurture the deep, authentic connections often neglected in our ever-faster, multi-tasking culture. Council can be a balm for the soul.
It is used worldwide in a variety of contexts including public schools (including more than 60 public and private schools in California, South Africa, Europe, and the Middle East), in universities, prisons, social service agencies, faith-based communities, families, wilderness programs, non-profit organizations, and businesses.
Join veteran council trainer Lori Austein for this experiential course in the art of council facilitation. Lori is a council carrier with deep and diverse experience in the field.
