Rob is a recognised Carrier, Facilitator and Trainer of Way Of Council, trained by elders of the Ojai Foundation, Gigi Coyle and Marlow Hotchkiss, many others and the practice itself. He currently mentors others on the path of Way of Council, having facilitated Council talking circles with regular practice, workshops, and trainings, UK and Europe since 19 years.
As part of an accompanying practice and increasing return to a deepening connection to nature and broader indigenous perspective, he trained as a (SOLB California) School of Lost Borders Vision-fast Guide. He re-initiated and co-organised a global fast across three continents in September 2020 and 2021 as a ceremony to listen into nature and Earth as a partnership that will continue beyond.
He currently is a consultant to projects initiating council practice, recently a core team member of European Council Network (ECN), SOAR (School of all Relations, Greece), Quinta Ten-Chi (Portugal) and has this year co-founded RockCircleSky.org
He believes our connection to nature is an intimate and inseparable partnership – A relationship which directly calls for support in a re-membering, particularly across ‘westernised’ societies, to reawaken a common gratitude, sanctity and respect for the environment and all life.
