    Center for Council is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that evolved and spun off from The Ojai Foundation’s Center for Council Training division.  The mission of Center for Council is to train practitioners of council and to create and support council-based programs that foster collective wisdom, greater resilience and a deeper sense of community.  Center for Council offers Council-based trainings and programs that promote social and restorative justice and support individual and community well-being with community-based organizations, businesses, and directly to individuals and groups.  Center for Council offers a wide range of public workshops and professional trainings in the practice of Council, including the “Council Training Level 1, 2 & 3”  originally developed at The Ojai Foundation.  Council-based programs are customized to suit the needs of a variety of businesses, communities and systems.  Visit the website (“center for council dot org“) to learn more about its programs for community-based organizations, at-risk youth, law enforcement officers, inmates and the formerly incarcerated – as well as public Council Trainings.
